Message From The Chief
Welcome to the Los Angeles Unified School District’s Division of School Operations.
It is an honor to serve as Chief of Schools and to work alongside our Region leaders, principals, educators, staff, families, and community partners in support of the students of Los Angeles Unified.
The safety and well-being of our students and employees will always be our highest priority. Our purpose is clear: schools exist to serve students, and our responsibility is to ensure they have what they need to succeed. The Division of School Operations is committed to creating the conditions for every school to provide a safe, welcoming, joyful, and academically rigorous learning environment where every student can thrive.
